Our Values

Our MISSION is to give Cape May a cozy space that offers a diverse selection of food, drinks and snacks with a focus on community. Our food is approachable, delicious, a little unexpected and made to be accessible for all. 

 

Our PURPOSE is to nurture and inspire our locals and visitors to explore outside of their comfort zones and discover the unknown – whether it be a curious conversation with a stranger or trying an unfamiliar flavor or ingredient. 

 

Our VISION is to become an integral part of the Cape May community by not just offering superior products but also meaningful employment, opportunities to connect with one another and helping facilitate fully immersive local experiences for all. We believe that food is a conduit in bringing people together and are committed to building that bridge.

about us

Partners in business and life, Jamie and Candace, have a combined 40 years of Hospitality experience encompassing hotels, casual and fine dining restaurants and private catering operations. You could say that hospitality is in their DNA. They first met in 2006 while working at a restaurant in South Florida. After acquiring their degrees in Hospitality & Tourism (Candace) and International Business and Culinary Arts (Jamie), they worked and traveled all over the world. Over the years, they have traveled to nearly 20 countries together, falling in love with local cultures, flavors and aromas from around the world.

 

Together, Candace and Jamie are a powerhouse team.  Jamie takes the helm in the kitchen as the Executive Chef, in addition to sourcing consumer packaged goods, curated provisions and specialty retail items. Candace assumes the role of Front of House Manager focusing her efforts on service training, staff development, payroll, and systems.
